Cable

 

The Cable area, including the communities of Clam Lake, Drummond, Grand View and Namakagon, is known for its four distinct seasons of outdoor recreation and seasonal beauty.

Spring offers the chance to bike or hike along the area's 300 miles of trails. Summer welcomes the fisherman and the paddlers, while autumn is highlighted by fall color and wildlife watching along calm rustic roads.

When the snow flies, enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and, of course, cross-country skiing. Each February, the Hayward and Cable areas host the world's top cross-country ski event - the American Birkebeiner.
